EFP Arrests Two Suspects for Smuggling 6.2 Kilograms of Gold( Federal News)
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – December 17, 2024 (EFPM): The Ethiopian Federal Police (EFP), in collaboration with the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS), successfully intercepted an illegal attempt to smuggle 6.2 kilograms of gold aboard using "Selam Bus" traveling from Addis Ababa to Axum. The operation took place on December 5, 2017, in Samara Town, Afar Region, as part of a routine surveillance and search effort.
